The Ansho Kingdom, labeled by the World Government as the "Devil's Playground", is an island somewhere in the New World. Not much exists on the island in it's current status. Twenty-two years ago, a large kingdom existed on it before it was destroyed by the Marines.
Geography[]
Twenty-two years ago, Ansho is seen to have been a massive island, covered in forests with a large city forming on the island. Much of the civilization on the island was exploded by the Marines, and it's citizens taken away.
Twelve years ago, Giovanni managed to cross the Red Line and return here by "memory" and begin construction of his base.
In it's current status, much of the devastation has become overgrown by an amassing jungle. It's coasts littered with large stones and sharp rocks, possibly blown away from the island by the marines. A large, makeshift harbor marks the location of Giovanni's base, and the island is seemingly overcasted by thick black clouds that always loom over the island.
Location[]
- Dim Harbour - A port rebuilt by Giovanni roughly twelve years ago. The port is small in size, but some how holds a large throne room, and suppoedly a castle which Giovanni rules over his crew from.
- Shadow Heaven - Seems to be the name of the castle Giovanni and his crew constructed twelve years ago, it is unknown the size of it. But as the throne room is clearly large, it is easy to assume his castle is quite massive.
History[]
Twenty-two years ago, Ansho's kingdom was prosperous in the New World ruled by Giovanni di Malaugurio. At one point, the island was visited by Gol D. Roger, whom was asked by Giovanni to decipher a poneglyph which the di Malaugurio Family had left hidden from the World Government for over 700 Years. Two days after Roger left the island, Giovanni was arrested by Sengoku, the city was destroyed and it's citizens sent top Mariejois to be punished. Sengoku labeled the island as "An island tainted", claiming it tainted by corruption.
Twelve Years ago, Giovanni managed to create a strong enough crew to cross the Red Line, and return to his home island, but as he had feared, there was no remains left. He spoke to begin Plan A, and the crew saluted.
The Current Island apparently has a large throne room, and a large dock which hides their ship due to the thick vegetation. Giovanni claims the island as his, but seems to continue to refer to it as "Devil's Playground" instead of Ansho.

- The history is heavily based off the main villian of Film Z, as well as other One Piece Villians.
