James Despard Hybrid Form

Guma Guma no Mi Hybrid Form

{{{title}}}
The Guma Guma no Mi is a Zoan type Devil Fruit that allows the user to transform into a full badger or a human-badger hybrid. It was eaten by Rear Admiral James Despard.

AppearanceEdit

A teal mango with an aqua center and black swirls.

Strengths and WeaknessesEdit

The Guma Guma no Mi allows the user to transform into a badger and a human-badger hybrid. The user gains superhuman strength, particularly in the upper body, allowing the user, when in hybrid form, to easily crush a large boulder. The user is also granted excellent vision, hearing, and smell.

It has normal Devil Fruit weaknesses.

UsageEdit

The main usage for the fruit, as demonstrated by James Despard, is for combat. Combined with his Rokushiki abilities, James uses the power bestowed by the Devil Fruit to become an even fiercer opponent.

Outside of combat, James has used the ability to burrow tunnels and create passage ways. He also uses his hybrid form's appearance to frighten civilians, saying that it was a life of crime that caused his "ugly appearance."

Gumasurassha (Badger Slasher): Used in half-badger form, James attacks his opponent with his massive claws.
