Yatagarasu (八咫烏 Three-legged crow who inhabits the sun) is the name of the pistol Drake Nigel wields as his primary form of combat, obtaining it from his creator many years ago.
Appearance[]
Yatagarasu bears the appearance of a standard pistol, with a sheen black color that seems to shine somewhat in the sun. It unusually has three holes where bullets can be fired from, which is related to it's special function that only Drake has been able to completely master.
Usage[]
Yatagarasu, like it's name indicates, has shown the unique function to fire three bullets simultaneously, and not only that, but change their direction once after they have been shot. The three simultaneous bullets arrive from the three bullet holes that the pistol has. At any moment, Drake is able to fire off either one, two or three bullets simultaneously by simply pre-determining how many bullets he wishes to use and firing them off by pulling the trigger. He is able to change the bullet's path by causing them to collide against one another at rapid speeds, causing the blast of kinetic energy to send them to separate destinations. Although he is unable to control where they hit after this collision, his expert marksmanship skills and perception usually cause him to hit all his designated targets effortlessly. Drake has developed a number of techniques he uses with Yatagarasu, and the imbuing of Haki to enhance it's potency.
